Kind Hearts is located on the southern edge of Addis with a slum area on one side and rolling hills on the other. Kids walk anywhere from 5 minutes to 60 minutes to get to the care-point from home. The local government (called a Kebele) is instrumental in working with the staff at the care-point to identify the neediest kids in the area to be able to attend the care-point.
