I HAD PLANS ...

Months ago, I picked up a cool shutter that had just the right amount of chippy paint and the perfect shade of blue.  Made me think of our lake place, and I had plans to hang it on an empty wall to add some color.

I half-way expected my husband to see it as junk and not "get" my vision.

But instead - when he saw it, he said "Did they have another one?" "Yes."  "Why didn't you get that one too?!?!"

So I rushed back to the salvage store - and its twin was still there.

So I got that one too.

Then I ordered a custom-size canvas print of one of my favorite photos.

And this weekend - we hung it between the shutters and it looks like another window - with a great view of the lake!
